Sunday Club – school years 1 & 2

A team of dedicated leaders and helpers use Bible stories, Bible cards, Bible timeline, prayers, activity sheets and games to help the children learn about God in a warm and friendly setting.  Children spend some of the time relating to each other as a larger group and some time working in small groups with the Splash! material from Scripture Union for their specific age.

The children are in church from the beginning of the service (10.00 - 10.30 am) and go to their separate activities after the first few songs (10.30 - 11.15 am).  For the fourth Sunday of each month, the children meet together for their own time of worship and then go to their separate activities.

Monday Club

Monday Club is for children in school years 3 & 4 and meets on alternate Mondays 6.00 – 7.30 pm during term-time.  The children enjoy games, Bible stories, quizzes, crafts and can buy tuck during the evening.  Children can get points, in the form of bottle tops, during the evening and these are linked to prizes at the end of each term.  The cost is 25p for subs for each meeting and the children are allowed to bring up to a maximum of 25p to buy tuck.

Rock The Gap

This group meets on the alternate Friday evening to The Gap Junior, 6.45 – 8.15 pm during term-time.  It’s a good opportunity for those in school years 5-6 to have fun and get to know each other through a packed programme of crazy games, puzzles, stories, activities, crafts, tuck, and loads more.
