Newcomer’s Tea

As Bromham Baptist is a large church it can be difficult to meet and get to know people, especially if you are new to the church.  So we regularly hold Newcomer’s Teas every couple of months to introduce new people to each other, to members of the Leadership Team and Welcoming Team.  It is chance to understand a little bit about the mission of the church, its structures and various activities and to have a look around.

Membership Course

We run a membership course with the purpose of presenting the foundations, vision, mission and aims of BBC and outlining what it means to be a member of the church, and what members can expect from the church.  The course also helps people to discover their SHAPE (Spiritual gifts, Heart - passion, Abilities, Personality and Experiences) and in what area of ministry they might best serve in the church.  These courses take place over three Tuesday evenings and are primarily for those transferring from another church, those coming into membership by believer’s baptism or through their own desire to become a member.
