Our Vision

The VISION STATEMENT of Bromham Baptist Church is:

"To the glory of God, with one desire, the salvation of Bromham and the extension of His Kingdom."

The MISSION STATEMENT of Bromham Baptist Church is to:

· worship God, preach and follow His word, and serve Him as a family

· be His disciples and demonstrate the power of God in our lives

· express God's love in action within the community

· nurture, encourage and release each other into full maturity in Christ

We are committed to fulfilling the original vision for the church in a relevant way in the 21st century. We hold regular Vision Days when we prayerfully seek God's purposes and plans for His church. In recent years, we have sought to 'grow our missionary heart'.

We sensed a clear call from God to plant a new church on the south west side of Bedford and, in 2008, Vale Community Church began in Marston Moretayne as an extension of our ministry.

There has been an emerging commitment to build and fund the running of a Christian school for the poor and disadvantaged Dalit children in India - Bromham Elementary School, Wardhannapet - and the school opened in July 2010.

Both Vale CC and the School are significant elements of our Vision towards 2015 and will be a major focus of the outreach activity of the church.

There is a continuing desire to increase our work among the local community.
