Ashoka Eye Hospital, India

 
The Church has contributed towards the building of an eye hospital in India where cataract operations are provided to the poorest of society. Each year, we send financial gifts from our Christmas Day offering to help with the running of the hospital.

Pictures show a post-operative check-up and a group of villagers leaving hospital after their operations.  The work is led by Dr. Raju and his wife wife who work togehter in this vital hospital work, restoring sight to those with cataracts and curing other eye problems.

Akko Baptist Church, Israel

Bromham Baptist Church has developed links with the Associatoin of Baptist Churches in Israel and with the Akko Baptist Church in particular. There have been exchange visits and Mark Hatto, our Minister, recently visited a number of Baptist fellowships on a trip to Israel in March 2010.

Barnabas Fund

Bromham Baptist Church supports the Barnabas Fund which has a ministry focussed on bringing aid and support to persecuted Christians around the world.  They seek to meet both practical and spiritual needs by encouraging, strengthening and enabling existing local Church and Christian communities.
